What do you guys think about the Vaio FZ series, in particular the FZ-130B/E? I am in need of a new computer to replace my 5 year old dell dimension 8250 w/ 533mhz fsb. I am not into gaming I just want a good laptop for internet, docs, and entertainment (DVD's, photo's, Music library).
My Big worry about the computer is the 1.8 ghz cpu, is this good enough for what I need?

There are way more options out there for you than the Sony FZ series. If you fill out the faq we can give you better suggestions about whether or not the FZ series is good for you or laptops from other brands.

For what you need, the FZ130 is a good fit. It is a good weight with good performance and decent price. The only thing that I would suggest is get the Hi-Color option display (only $50 but well worth it), make sure it is 2gb of ram as vista is a memory hog, and if possible get 2.0 ghz as it has 4mb cache instead of the 2mb cache that is in the 1.8 ghz. If you can't get the options, it is still a nice piece of technology.

Do you care about size, weight, battery life, look? what is your budget? Another option may be to customize the FZ190 without blu-ray.

I would say the FZ sounds like more than you're looking for. Since you're not into gaming and just want a stable computer, you'll probably be able to find something cheaper for your needs.
