    Hi people.

Wondered if you might be able to shed some light on this for me. I have a Sony Vaio FZ38m which im extremely pleased with and it plays all dvds and blu rays. When I plug the HDMI cable in and use the winbd program the discs wont play on my samsung 26" hd ready tv do you know why this is? It begins to play on the laptop but remains blank on the tv and then after about 1 second it just stops and wont do anything. Normal dvds work fine but blu rays wont play. Can you tell me if im doing something wrong or what I can do to get it to work. Thx..

Also is there any way to get the screen to fit on the tv via HDMI as its seems to big slightly too big for the tv and things are missing.

Hope to hear back from someone soon coz this is really annoying me, the blu ray problem that is.

    Cheeeeeeeers........ :)

It seems that HDCP stuff prevents BR to be watched on 2 displays (notebook+HDTV) at the same time. U have to use your HDTV as the one and only display if u want to watch a blueray.

Selecting HDTV only (Fn+F5 3 times if I remember well) will also fix your resolution problem. It will auto-adapt to the native resolution of your HDTV screen. (if not, change yourself the resolution in control panel).
