    Supposely the new ultraportable type notebooks are supposed to get a refresh in both techical hardware components and minor cosmetic re designs....supposely...

    Oh, and they've decided to name me as the new ceo of the vaio notebooks :D

    What's the new cr series going to be like, I wonder... Will it be worth waiting for or should I just bite the bullet and get the SR?

    I expect new CR to stay 14", have Montevina platform and be a bit lighter than the current generation.

    They might change some things on the CR, but I wouldn't expect drastic changes to structure. The FZ had a material change on the speaker panel last year.. I had the FZ190 while my friend had the newer one and his speaker panel looks alot more metalic/shiny and solid, where mine looks like dull metal.

    They could allow discrete video, b/c I think in Europe they could configure it with a dedicated GPU, so I think it's possible.
