I don't know whether any of you can help, but i've just order a copy of Windows 7 for my Sony Vaio FE21M computer. It currently runs XP and was bought about 4-5 yrs ago.

I'm a bit of a novice when it come to computers but really do want the new Windows 7. I've read loads of tutorials on the internet and just want to make sure what i think i have to do is correct.

Am I right in thinking when I get the discs from Microsoft and install 7 that I would need to find all of the drivers myself for like the mouse, graphics, sound, bluetooth, wireless internet all that lot ?? or will windows 7 find them for me??? as if so I have tried to find them on the Sony website but they say they cannot help people on xp :( and I don't know what too do....

Also if when I install 7, will everything work correctly on my pc, or will it all get messed up and things not work properly, like the wirless, or the bluetooth and the cam.

Im a little confused as you may be able to tell and don't quite know what will happen once I've installed it, and don't want to install it if I won't be able to use my laptop.

Or am I simply just getting the wrong idea and that when it gets installed, windows finds most of the drivers for me and installs them...

If any of you could help I'd be much appreciated :)
