    Vaio G2 series

    I just noticed on Dynamism that there is an update to the G series line, the G2 models. Seems to mainly be C2D processors and LED screen with "hard coating", as the rest appears to be the same. Also has 64GB SSD available as an option. Dynamism site says it will start shipping later in October.

    Anyone know anything else about the new G2 models?

    Its that Conics.net will update their site (hopefully tonight) with the Vaio G2.

    Yes QWERTY layout. I didn't see pics of Sony's layouts, but to give you an idea here's a pic Dynamism has of the Panasonic keyboards:

    Personally (as a touch typist) I don't like the international keyboard layouts because there are so many keys in different places or additional keys inserted where I'm not expecting them (e.g. on the right side of the keyboard where the return key and right shift key are pushed further to the right).

    Bytheway, G1 is going at very low price at the moment. around 130,000 Yen.
