Hi:
I bought a Sony SVT15115CLS ultrabook with Windows 8, two weeks ago.
When I have Vaio Gesture Control enabled, if I open any browser (Chrome, Explorer, Firefox) or any application with menus and buttons located in the upper left corner of the display, these do not work, as if they were disabled. Do not accept clicks with mouse nor tactile entry with fingers.
The menus and buttons of the rest of the display work ok with mouse and/or fingers
If I reduce the size of a window with a running browser ( or any other application) in order to move menus and buttons from the upper left corner of the display to another portion of the display, every menu and button start to work with no problems.
When I have Vaio Gesture Control disabled, every menu and button of any part of the display works ok.
I have installed every available patch from MS Windows update, but the problem keeps on
I have installed every updated driver from Sony website available for this model, but the problem keeps on. ( Sony eSupport - SVT15115CLS - Soporte)
I think it is a bug for Vaio Gesture Control utility, but do not know if there is a fix.
Sony local support just recommends to restore the ultrabook to factory settings (They recommend it for any problem, always)
I appreciate your help to solve this problem.
Do you know if there is a fix from Sony for this problem?
Any other suggestion to solve it?
Thank you in adavance.
Regards,
Luis
