    Help!

I need to remove the hard drive from my Sony Vaio PCG GR370.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    -Bayleaves

p.s. I've read tons of "how to remove vaio hard drive" websites, but the instruction all prove to be useless. I've unscrewed all the screws I can find on the computer and it still won't open. What am I missing?

    Simple.

Open the compartment where the HDD is by removing all the screws. Look if the HDD is attachted to the laptop somehow (screws holding it in place, that sort of thing). Sometimes the HDD will sit on a slide or something like that. Gently take it out and remove the wires. Thats all there is to it.

Do you know how to get the computer open? That's my main problem at the moment. I've unscrewed all the screws, but I can't get to the inside of the laptop to remove the hard drive.

If you removed all the screw then it should open. Thats how it works for me.
Maybe there's a latch somewhere holding everything in place?

Sadly, I can't find any more latches, hooks, or screws. There must be some way to open the computer, but I'm completely stumped.

    Thanks for the link.

Now that I've (_finally_) got the computer open, I'm having trouble removing the hard drive. I can see it in there, but it wont come loose! I'v unscrewed every screw, but the thing just wont budge.

    Any ideas?
