    Hello,
I plan on upgrading my Sony Vaio L2190X (touchscreen) to an SSD with a clean install of Windows 8. I was reading Sony's install order of their software here:

Sony eSupport - Electronics - Support Information

I am wondering, which pieces of "Vaio" software on that list can I avoid completely if I want to be lean on the bloatware? I still want to maintain all of the normal system functionality such as the fn keys, brightness, etc. But with some of the Vaio applications I find to be annoying such as Vaio Gate and Vaio Update. Can I skip those programs completely or do they provide some sort of functionality to the computer that won't run properly without it? Likewise can I avoid installing the PMD software and Playmemories home software? They are relatively high on that list of install order and I just don't want to mess anything up.

Also Sony's list of install order excludes the touchscreen drivers that my computer requires. Should I just install this one last?

    Thanks!
