    Hi all,

I just bought a new Sony Vaio NW-11Z and because it was comming from Germany, it had a german Vista on. Normally, the first thing to do was a new OS. I have a english Vista on a DVD, but I said I would really like to give a try to the new Windows 7. Indeed, it works like a charm, way lot better than crappy Vista.

The only problem I have with win7 though, is a one I've heard it's on Vista systems also (never tested it myself though, german Vista survived for the first boot only). If I put the notebook to sleep/wireless, when I turn it on again, the wireless link is lost and doesn't reconnect even if I turn off/on the wireless adaptor on the machine (either from the Vaio Network utility or from the on/off button on the notebook). The only way the reconnect to my wireless lan is a restart.

I have seen some posts on this forum regarding other models of Vaio with the same issue, but I'm not sure they have the same wireless adaptor incorporated (NW has a Intel WiFi Link 5100).

Does anyone else have the same problem? Or is anyone aware of a solution for this issue?

I have the latest Intel drivers installed (v. 12.4.3.9).

    /Andy
