With the Vaio Nw i noticed that the processor only goes up to 2.2 Ghz but the chipset supports much higher processors. The same goes for the memory. The chipset says it supports up to 8 Gb but the sony website and the computer says it takes only 4 gb max.

I'm just wondering if you can upgrade the processor and the memory past what is stated by sony?

Plus, has anyone put a ssd drive in there sony laptops? Is the improvement as good as they really say? How about in windows 7?
