I need HELP to pick only the NEEDED Sony software/utilities that comes with our machine. I am not talking about 3rd party software but mostly Sony stuff.
What can we remove without turning reducing notebook functionality.![]()

The capture utility is the only one I'd consider optional. The Bluetooth stack really has MORE than the import/export functionality I believe. If you have no bluetooth devices then, of course, it is optional. Otherwise I think you do need it. The Smart Network I think is necessary if you use more than one network. One at home, one at school or work, one at a friends house, one at a clients' site, one at a hotel etc. If you only EVER use one then it might be optional. I'd leave it just in case.
The clean install doc for an FZ190 (see link in my signature line), explains what most of these are and the order they need to be installed if you do a clean install. That info, is true across ALL the current VAIO models, I believe. The order of install is VERY important.
