    Vaio PCG 81212m touchpad issue

    Today, I got a new laptop and when I use the touchpad then everytime or almost everytime the cursor goes elsewhere, where I didn't want it to go, even when I'm dragging something along it does something I don't want it to do.

    I did see a patch for one of the other series non sony, but not sure about this.

    I know they can be very sensitive which is why I just have one finger using it.

    Please advise on what to do, what settings to change etc or where to find a patch, if there is one.

    I did have the same problem on XPS, of which I only used once or twice and not anymore.

    Could it be because your fingers are clammy? Sometimes when that happens I dry my fingers some more and the problem goes away...
