I recently bought a used (barely, sony battery monitor reports it's only gone through 40 charge cycles) PCG-C1MWP for $250 - not a bad deal IMO.

It only came with 256mb of ram (the 128 onboard and 128 removable), and i definitely want to put more in it - most places are reporting it's got a maximum of 384mb, which seams a bit low to me. 640mb would be nice (a 512 plus the 128 onboard), as 512 meg pc133 microdimm modules are going for as low as 80 bucks.

Anyone know of a new (or hacked) bios for this thing that would allow it to see more memory?

I'm sorry to go off topic, but where did you find it for $250? All the C1M models I've found on Ebay at least always go for over $600.
