This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi everybody,

    I've got a Vaio PCG-215S notebook for work. You all will probably expect my question:

    How can i reduce the fan noise that is coming from the notebook.
    I've searched almost everywhere on the internet, but can't find a sloution to this problem.
    At fisrt the noise was just annoying, but now it is really irritating me and i'm glad when my working day is over..

    When i shutdown the notebook, it is a really great silence then.. just fabulous!

    Can anyone help me reducing the noise?
