Hello, I bought the extended battery sheet for my Vaio Pro 13, I'm running model number SVP13215CDB. The battery worked fine for a few weeks but after the initial purchase the battery indicator in windows seem to constantly stay at 80%. Windows 8.1 does not appear to be discharging the correct battery percentage. In other words after a few hours of usage, the battery is still stuck at 80%. I currently have the battery preserve program in the Vaio Control Center turned on to limit the maximum charge at 80% to maintain proper battery health. At the moment, I have a solution to fixing this but it involves removing the external battery and re-installing it. After this simple procedure, the battery can correctly show the remaining battery power. But this has to be done all the time now. I was wondering if anybody has ever had this issue before...? The external battery charges correctly, it's just when its discharging it doesn't show the correct remaining battery percentage.
My second question is...is it okay to leave the main battery at 100%...? When using the external battery sheet, the computer discharges the 2nd battery first, rather than the main battery in the computer. If the battery in the computer is constantly at 100% is it safe, while the main charging and discharging is done by the external battery...?

I have the same problem, it's windows 8.1 problem that can't read the sheet battery correctly when your laptop in sleep or shutdown for long time , you can get it's works again by putting the computer in sleep and wake it up immediately (there is no need for removing the external battery)
the best its to set the battery care on 80% so the internal battery will charge max 80% .
