I made a set of recovery disk DVD's. 3 of them. Then I am trying to get Ubuntu dual booting nicely I removed the partition of the recovery option(because I have the DVD's). Now when I try and boot from the recovery dvd's, it loads, starts(from the dvds) and then says a partition is mission, can not continue.

Am I missing something? I thought the purpose of having these disk you could remove everything?

What I have noticed is if I have my bios settings in UEFI settings it does not boot the dvds. If I have then in Legancy it does, I can run the recovery but before it starts(after I select OK to reset) it states I must go into Bios and change the settings to the correct default settings, UEFI. Then I am back where I am, not working. Anyone have any ideas?
