    Alright it looks like the font is different from stock windows, either Sony changed this font or you changed it accidentally.

    Also check if cleartype is on.

    Summary of steps: Start -> Search for ''change window colors and metrics'' without quotes -> press enter -> It should bring up a window allowing you to change system wide fonts, click on the areas that you want changed -> change it to Segoe UI, size 9 which appears to be the standard font windows uses.

    Also I think the only bits that are affected is the menu and selected items.

    Or... you can right click on desktop and click on Personalize.
    Re-select a theme will bring standard fonts back.

    Did you use zoom? I enlarged the fonts and icons at the 125% setting and have the same effect. Does not bother me though.
