    Hallo, Vaio Community,

I am a longtime VAIO user from Germany and just over one month ago I got my new VAIO S13A with almost the best configuration possible ("just" 256 SSD RAM, no LTE, no Bluray Burner, other then that, full configuration).

Over all I am really impressed with its design, speed, battery, mobility and settings, still there are a few points that frustrate me a little bit and I would like to get your opinions on it.

    1. Many people critized the display. Actually I am pretty satisified with it, I think it has a good resolution and is very bright. BUT when I have a darker background on the display, there is a very noticable brighter stripe especially on the lower edge, but also on the top side of the display, the brighter area is pretty regular, but when I check the S13 and Z models in a local Sony store, the display illumination is totally regular. Is this a general problem of the S13A, maybe because its so thin and so bright or did I recieve a defect display? Anybody else with irregular illumination?

    2. Maybe I had to high expectations for a notebook and I also know its a business notebook, but I thouht it will be no problem to play the newest 3D videogames on it. BUT with most benchmarks I used I got not to satisfying Framerates and even my favourite game Starcraft 2 doesnt run smooth on the highest settings. I expected a little more from a 2GB Nvidia, 12 GB RAMa nd i7 processor.
Is there some way to improve the 3D Gaming performance? I found a thread here about a "Bios modification", but I am not a computer geek, I dont want to ruin my machine with something I dont comprehend and loose my guarantee. :S
