I made a few print screens before it got taken down. I was too lazy to do the whole thing since it was long, I got maybe half of it.

If that's an accidentally released page, then that's quite interesting... $1700CA and that's with a Blu-ray drive (-$100 if you go DVD) and large battery (-$200 if you go standard battery)... so... $1400 starting price... no SSD included in price though... add ~$250 for a 128GB or $500 for 256GB aftermarket SSD. No option for 1080p screen.

So is there a chance the GPU will NOT be 6630M but something better since there are 2 or 3 "AMD Whistler LP" cards like the 6650/6730M ???

I wouldnt bet on it, but to reach the clocks of the 6730m is going to be one hell of a chip

    6630m clocks

    core - 425mhz
    memory - 800mhz

    6730m clocks

    core - 725mhx
    memory - 900mhz

I would still overclock the memory first, it brings more improvements than a up in the core clock.

Whistler LP and XT cards, these are different no?

I would doubt if the card is different but you never know there may be some variations in some countries. Sony appear to have have done this with the SB in Canada.

22nd June cto would indicate launch at the start of June. It would be nice if Sony gave someone a pre release model before then so we can get some firm details on weight / screen quality as given the wait I would like to order one on first day available.

The card is not different per se, the arch of the core is just the same. Its that some models use DDR3 and some GDDR5, and the LP 6630m) and the PRO (all the others, and apparently the 6730 is a XT, while I dont believe so, since the XT is and was the best card of the series, i.e. blackcomb XT [6970m] and the Blackomb PRO [6950m] or in the case of the M96 XT [4670m], M96 Pro [4650m]) . Here is the line up of the 6600/6700:

    6630m - core [425] memory [800] RAM type - DDR3

    6650m - core [600] memory [900] RAM type - DDR3

    6730m - core [725] memory [900] RAM type - DDR3

    6750m - core [600] memory [~1600] RAM type - GDDR5

    6770m - core [725] memory [~1600]* RAM type - GDDR5

*it uses a hynix memory rated at 7gb/s, so it should read 1750mhz, but according to AMD, it uses 1600 instead, BTW this is the XT model, the XT model is always the higher end model of each series, so in this case is the 6770m, as in my case was the 4670m, or in the 5000 family the 5770m (which never saw action)

No way. AMD/Whistler-LP/1GB it's a 6630M. The other card of 66xx and 67xx series are Whistler-PRO or XT.

I've seen a couple of mentions of WWAN/broadband. Can anybody confirm this, and if so who is the carrier(s) in the US? Thx in advance.
