    Vaio SA Clean Install - Fingerprint Sensor driver

    Hi,

    i just made a clean Win7-Pro install on my new Vaio SA. I installed all the drivers from the Sony support page, but there is still one device listed with no drivers in the Device Manager: the Fingerprint sensor.

    I installed AuthenTec TrueSuite Driver a few times but no luck.

    Anybody else run into that issue? Do I need a other driver and where to get it?

    Yeah I was also running in the same trouble half an hour ago: Go on the european support page and download the fingerprint driver from the Sony Vaio SB 64bit version. This one works. It seems as if the driver that they put on the SA page is the 32bit version and therefore the driver doesn't work! Hope that helps!

    You're welcome. I also did a clean install straight away after getting my SA. Too much bloatware on it. :)

    Kein Problem. Hatte ja wie gesagt selbst grade auch das Problem. Ich glaube hier sind auch nicht ganz so viele aus Deutschland aktiv, da muss man ja zusammenhalten :) :)

    Can someone please link me the download? I have tried Danish, Uk and Germany site both with SA and SB driver. I can only install the software not the driver.
