I have had my SA for a little over a month. Lately, every time I resume, whether from sleep or hibernation, the display is overly bright. It has nothing to do with the brightness setting, which is unchanged from before the computer went to sleep. The color is totally washed out. The only thing that fixes it is a reboot. Anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?

I am using the SA Factory color profile posted by Stormblade83, if that makes a difference.

I'm far from an expert here..but if it appears that the screen is overly bright (e.g. well beyond the highest brightness setting) than perhaps it is a physical issue with the back-light. I doubt the color profile would have this effect.

Perhaps it has something to do with recycling power to components that regulate the back-lighting voltage.

Disclaimer: I very well could be wrong, and I hope someone else here can give some more insight into this.

Sorry, I can't help with your problem - just wanted to know if you are happy with your SA other than this issue?

    Thinking hard about getting one...............

I don't love the screen, but I am happy with the performance.

My biggest complaint with the screen is a lack of contrast.
