    Vaio SA serial number not correct

    A week or 2 ago I posted a topic about issues with my SA2 which had SA3 components and a serial number that matches the SA3 according to Sony. My laptop is currently being swapped for a new SA3. A few days ago I was called by Sony, who informed me that my laptop had to be returned because of the problems mentioned here. This leads me to believe that Sony may have made this mistake with more laptops so SA owners who bought their SA around the time the SA3 was introduced should check if they have the same issue. It might lead to incorrect driver updates or worse, incorrect BIOS updates in the future.
