    Hi guys,

I'm getting used to my new SB, but notifications about Intel Rapid Storage keep popping up, whenever I google this it suggests something to do with RAID drives but I thought the system was only designed for one storage drive so this confuses this.

Can anyone shed light on what Intel Rapid Storage Technology is supposed to do here and whether it suggests there's any hidden tech going on here?

I think the intel rapid storage only gives pop ups when you switch off the DVD drive (which is done automatically when you switch your power plan to "power saver" or if you are on battery). How often does it give notifications on your computer?
