    Vaio SB19 Extended battery disappoints

    Nice machine but the extended battery for the SB19 has turned out to be a real disappointment. If the Ext battery is not plugged in when the INternal battery runs to zero. Then you can't just plug the fully charged external battery in later.

    The internal battery must have at least 1% charge left in it. You could even just plug the power adapter in for a few seconds to get that going. But that is a real nuisance. So the only way the ext battery can be used is if it is already charged.

    I don;t know if the ext battery can be charged while it is plugged into the notebook. If it can then that will defeat the "Battery Care Function".

    Is this the case - has anyone else seen this as a problem.

    Why don't you just plug in the sheet battery when the internal has 1% left?
