I have had some problems with the ATI drivers while using Photoshop CS5 (64bit extended), it seems that the GPU acceleration crashes the driver, at least using the latest driver from Sony...
So I saw the thread with the latest 12.1 drivers directly from ATI, and tested it out. While it worked perfectly after installation with no crashes in Photoshop, I ran into another problem.
It seems that while I have the ATI drivers installed I don't get any picture when watching movies on my computer and it seems to have something to do with that the EVR rendering doesn't work properly.
Does anyone else have these problems or is there a solution to it?

a common problem with the new drivers (for a reference, check Guru3D's AMD forums). as far as i can remember, people have had success by rolling back to 11.12 drivers.

Thanks a lot, I thought it might be a problem with the newer driver so I tested out the 11.10 drivers before but it had the same problem, so I was a bit skeptic but the 11.12 drivers solved my problems!
You really made my day, thank you! -
