Well basically I brought a Vista Busi. 64 Bit Laptop that included a Window Xp Prof. 32 Bit which I use since I always hated Vista. But now the Window 7 Prof. UPGRADE that I'm getting in a week or so is 64 Bit .

So the question is , Can I upgrade from Window Xp Prof. 32 Bit to Window 7 Prof. 64 Bit with the Window 7 Pro. 64 Bit Upgrade CD that u receive for free from the Sony Upgrade program. ? My laptop supports 64 Bit for sure.

Thanks in advance. I been getting alot of mix answers from my friends and online T_T

PS. Sorry if I made it really confusing for people lol O.O

You can't upgrade from 32 bit Windows XP to 64 bit Windows 7 using the upgrade option.
You have to do a clean install or either already have a 64 bit Windows platform installed.
If you had Vista 64 bit installed you can do the upgrade.

Yeah have to do a clean install.
You can upgrade from 64 bit to 64 bit but not 32 to 64.
