    Hi all,
I have a 6 months old vaio sr 290. Last Friday switched it off properly, on Monday plugged it in and nothing. If I held the power button down, no lights, no nothing. If I removed the battery however, I could switch it on.
Figured my battery was dead and ordered a new one. It arrived just now, but no change: even if I put the new battery in the damn computer does not switch on :(
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you in advance,
    Jonts

I suggest talking to Sony straight away and get them to have a look at it since it is still within warranty.

    Could be a connection issue.
