This is the only Vaio I've owned, but compared to other laptops this screen is very hard to clean without leaving streaks. I've tried the usual cleaners and no matter what cloth I used or how thoroughly I wipe it off, there are ugly streaks.
    any advice?
    thanks

I use a soft t-shirt to wipe any dust from the screen first. Then I take that soft t-shirt, and lightly dampen it with some warm water and slowly but lightly wipe across the screen. Then I take a dry portion of that same soft t-shirt and wipe across again, removing any moisture and streaks from the water. It is as good as new.

I use a warm damp cloth to clean the screen. The trick I use is to wet small segments at a time, and dry each segment immediately after with a cloth or kleenex. I find that this minimizes the streaks.
