    Hello folks!

I'm having problems with my VAIO, i updated the BIOS from Sony original via Sony support website and got screwed, after restart my laptop turn on, hd led turn on and immediately after that, (2 sec thing) turn off. The machine keeps rebooting by itself and doing that all over again.
I don't know what to do, i tried things like renaming the bios update to xxx.fd and recovering via usb and keys windows + b, fn + b, fn + r. Nothing works.

PS: I know my bios is Insyde version.

The link for the original bios is this one

    old version http://esupport.sony.com/LA/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVF14211CLB&upd_id=9343&os_group_id=24

    new version http://esupport.sony.com/LA/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVF14211CLB&upd_id=10364&os_group_id=24

Help, i wouldn't want to keep my laptop as just paperweight.

    Aykoth

    1. Restore BIOS defaults. (You should probably have done this before updating.) Then change settings to what suit your system and preferences.
    2. Go through the settings in the new BIOS and see if you can spot anything weird. If the fan isn't spinning normally, something in the power management might be messed up.
    3. Try starting without the battery.
    4. Disconnect the power adapter, remove the battery, press the power button to drain any residual charge, and then leave it like that for 30 minutes.
