This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I've been searching for my next work laptop and it looks like the SZ is what I want. I am concerned that it will be discontinued now due to the release of the SR. I do not want the SR because it has a rather large drawback for me. As a programmer, I use my home/end, pageup/page down keys quite a bit while editing text. Including them as a function of the arrow keys is a deal breaker for me and is the reason I've never gone with a mac.

    Is there any news of the SZ being discontinued, and if there is, what does that mean as far as the warranty goes for someone who purchases now? If a year from now, the laptop dies all together, is it replaced with the current equivelent (SR)?
