Vaio SZ Model Update Speculation thread

I love the Vaio SZ but I am hoping for an update to the design soon.

I don't know where the old thread was about this, but it was already posted here that there might be a new design this summer.

Today I read one of our Japanese members saying that the normal S line in japan is no longer available. Which is a very good sign I believe.

Now Montevina is on it's way in July, which makes another good reason for a major update.

Does anyone know more? I'd really like to know.

Have a look. Is obvious that Sony will update the SZ series with a new design, it was about time.

Edit: looking at the pictures a bit better, the picture is an AR. Still good find though.

 

No, that picture is definitely the current AR series, as you can compare here.

As you can see, the touchpad is far too small for a 13" notebook for instance.

 

Definitely change the keyboard! It has too much flex and is too noisy when typing.

 

Yup. Just compare the ratio of the keyboard. With three USB ports? My first thought was AR as well.

 

The specs seem right though, the pic isn't.

While the basic description of the notebook looks right, the picture like rahulnimal said above is of an AR! The SR keyboard improves greatly on the SZ keyboard (that is if you like the type of keyboard the SR is going to have. Some people love the SZ keyboard and it's long keystrokes. I'm not one of them though.)
