    Vaio SZ Monitor (LCD) Driver: Sony Vs. Microsoft?

    My SZ Vaio 270 Premium:
    Checked Device manager and also Everest tool I cannot see the brand of LCD/Monitor (e.g. LG, Samsung...). It just shows "Plug and Play Monitor". Someone told me that because missing LCD Driver (the current driver is Microsoft-windows).
    I dont know if it only happens to my SZ or the same with yours. I have done Semi-installation since quite a long time, no problem so far.
    If you have, pls give me the links to download.

    I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

    I'm currently running a partial factory restore. So original WinXP that came with my SZ150P but without the bloatware and it says the same, Plug and Play Monitor.

    i think Plug and Play Monitor is all it will ever say... it doesn't say anything more...
