    Hey,

Guys, I'm hell upset! I had my Vaio SZ in a laptop bag and the laptop bag strap broke and the bag fell!

I noticed that the right side strip, silver is damaged! Is it possible to replace it and just wondering how much it will cost?

Do various Vaio casing parts exist out there?

    Regards,
    James

This side plastic panel is called escutcheon, rather hard to get it cheap and easy.
Meanwhile, you may email Robert, [email protected], he has possibly got some silvers on stock yet.
Replacing it is not that easy, you need to disassembly almost the whole body.
This costs whole lot of work;anyway,it pays off vs Sony cra...oops,regular service.
