The screen on my pcg-k15 went black. You could still see things on the screen but the screen was very dim. After researching this problem on the internet, I concluded that the problems was with the inverter so I bought a "new" one on eBay. When I got the inverter, it looked used because there were remnants of the two-way tape stuck to the back of inverter as if it had been installed before. Nonetheless, I installed the inverter and powered up the laptop. The inverter seems to have fixed my problem. However, every so many minutes, the screen shakes, shudders and flickers for several seconds and then stops. I disconnected and reconnected the inverter several times but this didn't seem to help. Is this a symptom of a bad inverter, backlight or other problem?
