    Hi all,

I recently purchased a Sony Vaio SZ2VP (Core Duo @2,16 GHz HDD 120GB). Very nice and powerful, but it came with a disc partition and a lot of useless software. I Reformatted the disk and reinstalled XP Pro with provided drivers successfully. Except for a problem with the device manager. When I go to My Computer and look at the section "DEvices with removable storage", I see:

    • D: DVD drive
E: Memory stick drive (no picture associated!)
H: Removable storage unit drive (for SD/MMC memory cards)
F: Removable storage unit drive, with a very strange picture associated, and as it says, for SD/MMC memory cards too! The funny thing, is that it does not exist really!

You can see all that in the attached file.
The right thing would be the Memory Stick drive with the appropiate picture associated, and the F: unit shoul not appear.

Does any one know how to fix this problem?

Any help would be highly appreciated! :)

    Chris
