Here is what I posted in the Official TT thread:

Anyway, my battery has no leak. I charged my TT to 80% last night, shut down with AC attached. Disconnected AC. This morning, after 10 hours, power on with AC disconnected, and I got 80% after boot up, and remained @80% for about a minute before going to 79% after I started surfing.

Well, this time, I left it shut down for 14 hours. It showed 78% after boot up on battery (fully charged to 80% the night before). Not bad?

Today, it showed 75% after 15 hours after bootup from battery.

So, somehow there is some leak, but not to the point that it bother me. 7x% charge would still last for about 4 hours of use.

No, I won't charge my battery to 100%. I want to prolong its life. BTW, my hybrid car battery was never charged to 100%, and now I understand why.

In fact, If I need to go out all day without access to AC, I will charge it to 100%.

You guys turned off the laptop at 80% battery life, and why you think it will keep that number when you power it up to Windows and want to see it's still 80%? Boot up process has to eat battery man.

Just wanted to see if there is much leakage when it is off. I did it again today. I got 79% after boot up without AC (after 13 hours off). So, the 1% lost might just well be the juice required to boot up.

i'm sure if you turned off your laptop when it 100% u will get more leakage !! but when u charge it to 80 % you will get less leakage !! u can try it for one time and see what i mean !!
