Hi, I've been lurking through these forums and I've noticed that very few people seem to use the Vaio TZ as a monitor for playing games, through a gamebridge. Perfectly understandable, since an 11.1" screen is not optimal for game play. However...

I'm planning on purchasing a Vaio TZ150, and I want to play Wii games on it, using the Vaio TZ as a monitor. Will the gamebridge work on this laptop, smoothly? Will there be any lag while recording game play?

Also, I want to use Vista on the Vaio TZ. Will the gamebridge still work, properly? Any information is appreciated. Thank you.

It's a TV Tuner that lets you play console games on a computer, using the computer screen as a monitor.

    This is the gamebridge.

As you can see, the composite cables of the game console connects to the gamebridge, and then the gamebridge connects to the computer through a USB port. In this picture, a PS2 is being connected to the gamebridge. The gamebridge works with any console that uses composite cables (XBOX360, XBOX, PS3, PS2, Wii, Game Cube, SNES, etc).

The gamebridge is nice because you don't need a TV screen to play video games. All you need is your computer screen, which saves up a lot of space. This is especially nice for me because I live in a dorm, in my university.

Does anyone use the gamebridge with their Vaio TZ?
