Hi, I ordered my TZ at Pricejapan. Now I know that (unlike Conics) they do not sell the VOS upfront. Still I choose to buy from Pricejapan due to other factors.

    PJ website:
I have some questions about this warranty:

1 Did anyone ever have to use this way of claiming warranty? If so how did it go?

2 Did anyone ever try to buy or get warranty in their own country after importing? I thought about contacting Sony, saying i bought this laptop while travelling through japan, but forgot to buy VOS. what can you do for me?

3 So I need to make an image of the japanese vista, what is the simplest way to do this? Programname or link appreciated.

4 What about EU laws. I could imagine a worldwide manufacturer like Sony to be legally obliged to offer some kind of warranty on a product like this. any chance?

thanks in advance, if there any other threads with info please share.
