Hey everyone, I haven't been here in a while. Ever since I built my desktop, I've been completely off notebooks, and to think I was obsessed with them not too long ago, especially with the Vaio TZ when it was announced May 2007. Now its collecting dust in my back closet.

Maybe its a cycle and I'll eventually fawn over notebooks again and ultraportables. Hmm, I need to change the "Slobbers on subnotebooks" beneath my username. :D

Ever since I stopped using it in January, the battery has consistently drained down to 0% when powered off. I'm skimming the forums a bit and reading other people have this issue with their Vaios as well. It never happened to me until I stopped using it when I built my desktop. If I remove the battery from the computer, will that stop the drain?

Also, I have still not sent in my TZ for that recall announced way back in September, its been working just fine and I feel too lazy to send it in for repair.

By the way, how much do you think I could get for a used TZ130N/B model? I'm not expecting to get much. Thanks.

I've not has any issues with battery life, but I still use my TZ daily even though I have a desktop media centre PC. So maybe constant use is a factor.

I'd advise that you don't sell the TZ as a full unit. You will get more value if you break it for spares. There are many TZ owners who would be gratefull of the parts.

    Just a thought.
