I just recieved my TZ150 yesterday and it came without restore options on the HD and no restore disks. So I have been trying to get certain features working such as the function controls for brightness, volume, etc. I eventually got that to work, however I am having trouble with getting the fingerprint module to work.
The notebook does not recognize when I swipe my finger across the scanner, nor is there software to control it. I tried downloading the drivers from the sony support site, but it didn't do anything different. Help in getting my fingerprint reader on my TZ to work would be much appreciated.

Where did you get your machine? It should have at least came with the factory hidden restore partition; we offer the TZ images for customers for both Vista Business & XPP here:

I purchased from ebay. I tried to get to the hidden recovery partition by hitting f10 at bootup, but it asks me for a password. Will this disk work for my particular system?
