    Hello,

My story is the following. I had a "cold soldering" of CPU on my TZ170, so I gave it to the service guys for a repairment (not a warranty one), which they fixed and my laptop now works flawlessly, except the fact that now when I am closing the lid it "slaps" against the palm area and goes up right away, so in the end lid and lower panel are not in touch with a several millimeter clearance. When I move the laptop in different directions lid wobbles quite a lot. I'm sure you know that this instability can affect general reliability of laptop's construction (hinges, etc) in a long term.

It was completely different before I gave it for this maintanance (CPU resoldering). I needed less force to make it "slap" against the palm area and it sit tightly even if I turned the laptop upside down. Now it's loose.

What could be the reason for that "looseness"? What could be my arguments to give the servicemen to justify my dissatisfaction, or you think it's already a reasonable complain?

I hope I made sense with this wall of text. I know for someone this could be completely unimportant, but this is really annoying especially if you are moving a lot with this laptop.

    Thank you in advance!

IMO when they put everything back together something is out of alignment causing the lid to be " loose" as you state.Take it apart again and put back together...

That's what I suspect. Not sure what could be 'out of alignment', possibly something to do with the hinges?
