Wanted to get here before everyone else! :)

Been updated with four additional lid designs like on the SZ series in Japan.

Larger 1.8 and 2.5" HDD options.

U7500 processor discontinued and U7700 processor now available.

I think you'll be able to order XP Pro with these soon, if so, thank you Sony for listening!

Models will be available starting Feb 8th. Another minor refresh. If only we could customize this baby outside of Japan and can't wait for the eventual big refresh or new model. Bet they'll create a new T model when the Montevina ULV chips are out.

    Great found Rahul!

I doubt that Sony will give up the TZ series so soon. Is a very succesfull design and is risky to drop it for a new T series. IMO we are going to see TZ3 and TZ4 for sure. Hopefully with Montevina ULV!
So, also in Japan the TZ2xx have only minor upgrades no?

Recd. my Vaio TZ92 the latest Japanese notebook yesterday 02/28/2008.
    Still installing my favourite programs.
The specs: 64GB SSD + 250GB HDD with 2GB Ram with Mode Mesh cover.
Looks very sexy and it works pretty fast and perfect. Among my previously owned subnotebooks (Toshiba Libretto L2 & L3, Sony Vaio C1MSX picturebook, Sony Vaio U101, Fujitsu P7120) this SONY VAIO TZ92 is the one cost me dearly (over Can$4000) and most powerful subnotebook.
All programs including Visa Ultimate work smoothly. I am very much satisfied with TZ92.

Everything is meaningless until they upgrade the graphics chip.

I agree, is too old this 950 graphic card. I think I'm going to wait untill Montevina ULV is released, and hopefully Sony will make a TZ with this and Penryn.
