I am currently looking into a laptop for school and casual gaming(world of warcraft/diablo 3) and i came across the vaios that, until now, sounded like a bad thing when i thought bout them for some reason

But the more i read/look about it, theyre EFFIN awesome

WHY ARE THEY SO GOD DAMN EXPANSIVE?

i want a 13-14 incher black that is not too thick i can carry around as i want and that plays those 2 above games and the vaio (one of em cuz i have no clue with all the models there are) suits everything i need but is so effin damn expansive, im trying to find a used one but try to find something decent for less than 1000$ when ur in canada lol -_- anyways :/

Apart from teh CW anyone know anything else in that price range or perhaps you saw/know someone selling something i dont know ;)

actually i think made in japan is better in quality compared to other countries.
i guess its because japanese people take more pride in the way they make things.

i remember previously when vaio was first launched in my country, they emphaised on quality. there are reports showing workers making each slowly via hands, from first step to last (instead of those batch production). and this is the main reason why they cost more...

i was kinda impressed then.... but that's like 10+ years ago. could have changed by now already lol..
