Alright, I know Sony's often over heat, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. What happened is, it's not turning on, well, it turns on for a spilt second and I even see the little thing on the screen and hear a noise, but then it decides to give up. I feel like I'm about to rip out my hair. Please, someone help.

(btw, I wouldn't have posted this if my problem didn't seem to be unique.)

sounds like your memory might need replacing.

do tell, what things have you tried to do so far?

Well, it's my father's computer and he never used it so he gave it to his girlfriend. I've only used it once about half a year ago and it was perfectly fine then.
