This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Vaio VGN-CR353 won't boot

    Recently,my uncle purchased a Sony Vaio VGN-CR353 from the IT fair. After installing an anti virus software, we encoutered BSOD. We did change of RAM from the supplier and it all started to work fine. (the anti virus could be installed)

    This afternoon, I left the laptop on to do a windows update, when i came back home, the screen was blank and i was unable to boot into windows, not even to safe mode.

    Hope I can receive some valuable advice on what i should do next.
