    Hello All

Anyone has tried/owned the VGN-FW390JFB yet.. I want to know about your experience (WEI, Graphic Capabilities, LCD Panel, etc) with this model before I buy...

I already had a very bad experience with Toshiba and HP that I do not want to repeat

    Thanks

Ignore the WEI, trying an alternative/better benchmark tool.

You will find that the LCD screens on a Vaio notebook will most likely be better than those on HP and Toshiba models.

If your FW-390 comes with the 3650 you will found graphics performance will far exceed the dv6 shown in your signature, basically for recent games you can go from 'low settings' to 'medium settings' with an improvement in FPS.

    Thanks jsf_enthusiast

The dealer claims that this model is shipped with an ATI w/512mb Graphic Chips.. I just assumed it is the HD 3650 (Form specs at Sony web site) but I could not tell if it is GDDR2 or GDDR3..

I think I'll go for this one..

Return what dear? If you mean the HP dv6, then it is no, it been with me for 3 months... I just sold it to another end user at a reduced price... but still, happy to get rid of the HP

Now my problem with Vaio is the vista 64bit… and no drivers available yet to switch to 32bit… problem!
