I was looking to get this laptop from newegg and replace its T6500 cpu with the T9500 that currently sits in my Dell Vostro 1500.

Here's the one i'm looking to get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834117926

Both are 800 FSB, so I assume it should work, but the cpu i want to swap in has 6mb cache - i'm guessing it should be detected by the BIOS

Finally, how is the accessibility to the CPU in the Vaio? I'd imagine the build is more accessible, and heat dissipation must be more efficient than my dell... right?

Just wanted to be sure and check with the experts first!

    Thanks
