Thanks so much for your effort making the guide. The link should be included in the sticky Dissassembly thread.

Incidentally, could you locate the video card? I am interested in what it looks like.

The video card is integrated into the motherboard. You cannot remove or replace the video card in this model, it's a part of the motherboard.

Just in case. Before you remove the CPU, you'll have to unlock the socket. There should be a screw on the CPU socket witch you can turn into "Open" or "Locked" position.

Unlock the socket - remove the old CPU - replace it with a new CPU - lock the socket.

Thanks for the heads up. This is a ZIF socket right (so it should just come right out)?

Yes, it is a ZIF socket. Just turn the screw into the OPEN position and carefully lift up the CPU by the edges. When you install a new CPU back into the socket, make sure the CPU is positioned correctly and pins on the CPU match holes in the socket.

I tried to remove the back cover on the laptop and had a bit of an issue. So I removed all the screws, dvd drive, hard drive, ram, and removed the faceplate on the media keys/power button. Then when I tried to remove the back cover, it would not come off on the top (towards the LCD). It was free everywhere else but there. Do you have to remove the screws for the LCD panel joint before the entire back cover will come off?
