    Hello.
My flex cable for Vaio VGN-SR29VN has broke, and I ordered a new one.Now my laptop doesn't read HDD when I plug it on the motherboard via new flex cable.

I read some on google and find out that VGN-SR has two identical looking flex cables part number M750 & M751.

I bought M750. Now I don't know did I bought the right cable, and a few parts on my model have both M750 & M751 part number.

USB Board Connection Flex Cable M750
Dock Station Connection Flex Cable M750
    DC Cable M750

    Button Board M751
    TPM Board M751
    ODD Board (DVD/CD) M751

I am confused because I don't know which is the right part for HDD Flex Cable.

So, any help is appreciated. Thank You

doesn't it list the number on your broken cable?

I opened up my SR290J and the hdd cable is M751.
    specifically,
    Code:
    M751 MP HDD FPC
    1P-1087M00-2111
    REV 1.1
