Hello, so i did buy a Vaio VGN-TZ31WN, last week i had to format it and reinstal everthing. I did instal all the driver there was for my model in Vaio Support(eu) webpage.
But my littel buttons to play musics or the cd i have on the drive are not working. When my computer its off and i press on the "AV Mode" littel button, it tells me "Instant Mode Aplication can not be found. Try to reinstall it again in windoes mode." I did download back everthing from the Support Webpage and tryed to instal 1 by 1 to check if i did miss any driver/program first time, but it tells me its everthing installed already.
A friend of mine told me when he had problams on his vaio you guys here on this forum did help him with any problam, so i m trying my lucky :)
I got a image of the keys but i can't not put it on the post, so i will put it on my sig if possibel.

Also i have other problam, my webcam doesn't work or show to i instal it, and on sony camera software it shows me a blue screen saying "No Input". The camera its a Motion Eye model.

I will whait for a replay soon. :p

Greetings! I think what you're looking for might be the InterVideo InstantON Update Version 1.0.1 (from Sony UK via NBR member Bobet96).

And here's a link to InterVideo InstantON v1.0.4 (from Sony US).

Both versions are for the TZ, but I'm not sure if Europe and US versions are interchangeable. Also, I think the InstantON feature only works with Vista installed.. with XP you can only use the buttons for media playback control when the OS is completely booted up.

As for the MotionEye camera, you might need to reinstall the driver that came packaged in the archive file from Sony Europe for your model. The only driver I've found was the Ricoh camera driver for my TZ2000 (US), and I'm not sure if that would work for you or not.

    Good luck!

Hello. So i just did instal the europen version you told me to download it worked xD Its working perfectly now the AV Mode.

Now about the camera, that drivers you told me i intslled it, but keeps saying no input. I know there are many vaios with same problams
When i go my "Device Manager>My Computer>Imaging Devices" i got there "USB Video Device". But when i run Vaio Camera Capture Utility it shows "NO INPUT" and the blue screen. Also if i go "Control Panel>Scaners and Cameras", there is no divices.
Also on Device Manager there is "Other Devices>Unknown device", i don't know if this is related to the camera. I did download the Motion Eye drivers, and i tryed to update it from device manager the unknow device, but nothing did happen, that means this "unknown device" is not the camera. So i did try to unistall this usb video, but windoes installs it befor i m able to instal this Motion Eye drivers, and if i put to update it and indicate the Motion Eye camera drivers it says the one installed(by windoes) is better.

I have seen some more people with this problam around.

But so far realy thnx for the help, it was already awsome i could fix de AV Mode.

Yeah, not 100% sure how to fix the video cam problem, although it does seem like a driver issue.

Just for reference, my camera shows up as "Sony Visual Communications Camera VGP-VCC7" under device manager, and just as VGP-VCC7 under VAIO Camera Capture Utility (click on settings > then Cam/Mic selection tab > select camera under "preferred camera"), and is not listed at all under "Scanners & Cameras".

Uninstalling the "USB Video" device, then installing the correct driver seems like the right step, but I'm not sure why Windows would be jumping in and trying to reinstall it again automatically.

In any case, I'm glad you got your InstantON AV-Mode working!
